Well, i've had this thing for years and years.
It looks like the Cobra450XL ?
I accidently turned the voltage up from 13.8 to 20 maybe? anyways, now it no longer keys up. The preamp still works and the unit still lights up.
No smoke came out and i dont see any fried components. Power Transistors maybe ?
It has 2 SRF2072 in it, if their shot should i go to the 2sc2879 ?

Get new srf2072s at RF Parts for about 48 bucks for a matched pair.

ok, i'll do that.
BUT, after looking at it hard, i do see some solder? leaking from a capacitor ? (little brown circle, with a marking of just 10 on it)
Went to Rat Shack locally and bought a misc pack of capacitors that has the same marked 10 in it .
maybe the problem ? we'll see in the morning :-)

Replaced the part and now it keys up, just no output, i've got a pair of srf2072's on the way.
