Well back again, You guys on the copper forum are great, But now I need some more info. I have a Lazer 12 element which I run on the flat side I hear so many people talking about the quads. So I would like to know if someone could let me know if I could convert my lazer to quads. I had a friend that had a High Gain BigGunII and it seemed to be a good antenna. So if anyone could give me some good advice , I'm all ears. Thanks Oh yes as you know the Lazer has a 31 ft. boom. If I can do this what would it take??

Thanks guys for the info. Think I will just keep my Lazer up. First take it down clean up the elements re-check everything and put a back door on it to tighten the flat side up and go another 26ft. Thanks again. oh yea is it anything I can put on elements, and boom after I clean them up?

Some people use clear paint on there
metal antennas to keep SWR from
changing and corrosion from getting
on elements.
Spray after beam is completely assembled.
I never tried it....
