has anyone else seen this antenna or tried it?i came across it today. looks like a coil moblie antenna with 9ft radials.assembly looks as silmple as a imax 2k.the base is already assemlyed just add the verticle sections and groundplanes

Bruce, here is the link. Looks well built and doesn't advertise to be "best antenna on earth", but striving for a darn good product. Somewhat expensive but not out of the ballpark for someone trying to get started in the base antenna market without the backing from the big companies.

I know coilys have been making mobile antennas for years and have quite the following on the west coast.

WOW nice antenna for CB but pricy like a Mosley DI-6 on 6 meters same qualty well thought out.
My DI-6 lasted 30 years and this antenna looks like it could too.

yea i liked the looks of it. it looked very simple to build also as base comes already assemblyed.i would love to see a review on this

oooohhhhh! $260 though! OUCH! you know what, i agree with dale. gonna have to check for some unbiased opinions out in webland. could buy 3 maco v5/8's for that though & mine's already lasted 18 years...

Your right some antennas are a bit dear .... on 6 meters it's $200 + shiping for a DI-6 from mosley ...
I can buy 2 ringos and STACK them for less money .....
