I have had this radio I bought in 1995 in the closet and finally decided to use it. All features and functions work. I turn the freq counter on and the radio transmits on frequency but on 27.385 the clarifier will only reach between 27.383-27.384 and that doesn't affect AM but ssb I can't tune a lot of stations in. Since the radio has the built in freq counter is there an adjustment I can do to fix this. |

Try cleaning the board with some electronic cleaner. Sitting in the closet for a long period of time it gets dusty and grimmy. If that doesn't do it, then I would retune and align it.
