They're very similar radios. If the Lincoln is new enough to have the MRF 455 as a final transistor that's certainly something to consider.

Then there are the controls on the radios. Personally, I use my RF gain control a great deal and for that reason I prefer the 2510. Some people really want variable power, and the Lincoln comes stock with that instead of RF gain. With the 2510, if I would need variable power for some reason, I'd use the SWR calibrate pot and an external VSWR meter.

Another consideration is service. The last time I checked, Uniden still services the Lincoln, but they don't service the 2510 or 2600 anymore.

Of the 2510, 2600, and Lincoln, I'd choose the 2600, then the 2510, and the Lincoln would be my last choice. Because the Lincoln is the only one still made it's really the only choice for a new radio, and with the way these radios are modified I'd be really careful about buying a used one.

hey i own two hr 2510's and they both are really good radios.ID go with the 2510 and oldie but a goodie.
