cant seem to find vr adjments
for the 4300
need vr for am mod and hi and low power
and fm vr
ps no clipping !!!!!!!!!! |

mrsandman, the connex 4300 is the SAME radio as the 4400, 4800, ALL the big galaxy mobiles(45,48,93,95) 148fgtldx, galaxy 2517, general grant, ranger 99, rci2960, 2980, 6300-SSB or AM/FM only notwithstanding, they are ALL the same.
any info/mods on those will work on your 4300.
AM mod should be vr16, lo vr18, hi vr14. |

well i fixed the radio the dummy put in a swing mod on r238 took it out and got fm power backand i can turn on the talk back on with out asquel everyone i talk to says it sounds great
does get warm but not over heat..
radio is set at 4 watts low 18 watts high
swings to 60 on low and 75 on high rms and pep is 110 rx is alot less white noise than a 4800
by the way the swing mod made the radio sound like crap!!! |
