307 : Can you explain to me exactly how these meters work? I understand they indicate forward and reflected power.Are the two needles suppose to meet at some point or cross each other or what?

There are a couple different type "Cross Needle" meters. Most are designed so that when tuning a coupler (Antenna Tuner) you can monitor the Forward Power as well as the SWR "or" Reverse power without switching between the two. They are addicting.

I've been told that the only thing an antenna tuner is doing is fooling the radio into thinking that everything is okay with the setup.
