on my cobra 148gtl the ex speker and my pa speker dont work iv tryed difrent spekers and they work but wont work on my radio when i did my last mod i had a revers polerity diode blow on me i pulled it out and my radio started to work agin the # on the bord says b55 and its right there next to the pa ex jack do you think this has any thing to do with it caues i have not repaced it and thats the only problome i have with my radio

Turn on the radio , AM Mode , Key up and whistle into the microphone as you look at the meter. If it stays "still" as if no modulation replace the Audio IC , TA7222AP and your speaker will come alive.
