hey 307, 181 or any one else. whats the power on the 959, should i get a 959 with a d104 m6b or a cobra 29ltd classic, 104 m6b and a kl40?

The 959 will do somewhere in the area of 15-20 watts PEP (with a tune up). I would get the 959 rather than the Cobra. Just more bang for the buck, and more bells and whistles.

The KL40 will give you about 35-40 watts but you should only feed it with 1 1/2 watts. So a radio with a variable power output (like the 959) will do you a lot better for those times where you want to run barefoot.

That's a real good setup. VERY loud. Remember to feed the KL40 with NO MORE than 1 1/2 watts on AM deadkey. Yes it is a 4-pin mic.
