If your tired of using the junky terminals, connectors, and wire from the auto parts stores here ya go. When I was able to work I was an Aircraft electrician, the government always made sure we had good stuff. We are no longer associated with that group of morons anymore so I had to find a new source for good stuff.
Well If you go to tractor supply you can buy #4,and 6 welding wire. It is very flexible, has many strands of wire and is double insulated. If you want quality hook up wire from small gauge stuff on down to the big stuf go to a marinestore. I usually go to west marine. They have marine grade wire and terminals, at west marine you will pay more for this stuff, but the stuff you will be working with is much better. Yea you can find stuff on the the net formaybe cheaper, but then you pay postage, and time. I use these places as my local source. I do not like cheap electrical parts so I go to these places. Anyway thought I might pass this on. I know how I get when I use one of those cheap terminals, crimp it, and the insulation comes off.

Bye,

Tractor Supply - Welding Wire 4 & 6 Ga.

West Marine - Marine grade wire (any size)Terminals, splices, other electrical items.

Lowes - Heat shrinkable splices (pink, blue, yellow) These are cheaper here than West Marine.

Also the Electronics Part stores sometimes have things on the bargain tables.

I wrote this just to give a summary of my story above.

also, a good source for 12ga. stranded copper wire is at lowes in the garden or electrical section.
its low voltage lighting wire for the outdoor lights on the ground.
its dual conductor like speaker cable, very flexible, stranded, 12ga. buriable, and CHEAP!
check it out,
matt

Be surprised where you can find inexpensive quality electrical components. It's like that welding wire it was .80 cents per foot. It's double insulated and has lots of strands, and is very flexible. Next time I'm at Lowes, probably tomorrow I'll have to go and look at that wire.
