I've just installed a 357DX in a small Acura with a Valor half-breed antenna on magnet mount located on trunk. USB/LSB works great.. this radio really kicks. On AM however, I have to keep the RF power to minimum or this little monster just sqeals... please help. The controller deck is mounted on center console and the RF Deck in mounted in the trunk. I have the RF Deck negative ground wire bolted to the trunk floor and the 16 gauge positive wire direct to battery. Any ideas?

Hmm... mine would squeal if I let the mic cord lay across my body. Kept it away no problem. I believe I also had a 8 pill inline too.
