My 3900 broke a long while back. Well I was finally able to replace a diode that kid vicious told me about and I did and the radio worked so now I have two good radios. My old and tried SS 3900 and my new S9 I turned on forthe first time today. Talked to people on both, and both said they sounded good.

Thanks,
Wildrat

Wildrat,

What diode was that? Picked up a non-working unit at a yard-garage sale. I bought two Superstar's 3900HP from Copper and they have been flawless. Just disabled the rodger beep.

Thanks,
Climber
