MMMM good luck, I contacted cust service at copper and they said RF limited had no expected ship date, she DID say it would be updated on line as soon as they found out a date and was sorry about the delay... I'm ready to buy my second for the new car and warm up the fiberglass bucket to do some custom dash work!
Hopefully while we are waiting they are perfecting them to run wiht the new ERF2030 finals, word on the street is that it will be worth the wait, thase finals are more powerful than the 2SC1969's and more efficient!

I hope so. Are those MOSFET type finals? I hear the new stuff will be going to that type of technology someday soon.
Guys I feel your pain as I been waiting myself for a very long time to buy a 257. I pray they will be out by Christmas so Santa will put one under the tree for me. Believe my dad would get one too. Hey Santa if your reading this I have been extra nice this year. Please bring me a 257 with 2 pill Texas Star! |

Yes they are MOSFET, I have cut sheets and theoretical cross references on PDF but I don't want to post them due to possible copyright infringement.
There are already mods of how to implement them into Galaxy and Cobra radios and people are experiencing great results... Time will tell
