I have a RCI 2950.It had from 21.000 to 32.000 MHz.
For some reason now it only has from 26.000 to 32.000
MHz.OOPS what happened. Can anyone help ?

Is tis the DX model??? They convert to cover 21MHz.

I think it is the DX , it has a green back light face. No it didn't go to 15.000 . It only went from 21.000 to 32.000 . I first noticed it when the mike shorted and the buzzer buzzed. I appreciate any help.

Can this be a IC problem .Maybe Inspector or Tech808
can answer this ?.They seem to know a lot about the 2950.I called RCI tech support they were no help. All
help is greatly appreciated.

It may be the old 2950 the CPU has a battery on it.The main PC board # is 295013Z.

Since it is the DX model with the green back-light, the modification for coverage 21-32MHz is to have the expansion module installed and two small jumpers on two pair of pins, on the CPU board. If one of the jumpers comes off, this could cause loss of the lower band...just an idea.
