So are you going to buy it? I believe I'd get mine at Copper though if was cheaper. You got to watch that auction site. A lot of those individuals selling are criminals. They will steal from you in a heartbeat. I buy quite a bit of stuff off that site, and I do a lot of research before buying or bidding. One thing you want to ck is shipping & handling. They will get ya on that. I bid on a marine vhf radio from a guy and I forgot to ck shipping and handling. He wanted 48 bucks for S&H. I called him on it though and suddenly it's a mistake. I was scared on that one because I got the radio cheap, and I still did in the end. Then there is automotive sites out there. Some of then have people doing it were the biggest crooks I ran into. They would steal your gold teeth. They would show an item, say it's new, the one in the pic is new, the one your getting isn't. You try and contact them and they might as well have dropped off the face of the earth. Anyway, be carefull. The other thing is, is that the radio from Copper will work 99.99999% of the time out of the box. I know a fella got a Palomar 450 something amp new from E something.com and he had to fix it before he could use it. I talk to much. I like hearing myself. Actually I am on major meds today, so I've been quirky all day.

i LOVE the way people bid things up without thinking sometimes!!! just WHAT are they thinking???

without seeing the auction, it's quite possible it was an OLDER NEW IN BOX, 1 of the 'GOOD' versions. have seen them, NIB, XL's, LT's, 148's get bid up OVER $200. worth it??? worth is what the BUYER is willing to spend.
