I want to know the board # in the 2950DX that copper sells, I was told there were two #s and one of the boards you only need to add a jumper to mod it and the other you need a frequency expansion module to mod it. I also heard there is a blue dot 2950DX that is not modable a all.

Can someone explain the 2950DX to me?

thanks,
AP

The way I understand it is the radio comes with the expansion plug needed to modify it for 11 meters. I have heard that there is an export model that can be modified and a USA version that can't be modified, but don't know about the board numbers. A 10 amp power supply should work fine but I wouldnt go any smaller.
