Ok , everyone has been waiting for this, On the Copper Website will be a downloadable template file for adding YOUR article to the new set of books I am compiling. I found a way to fix the frequency drift on the
360014b boards !

you replace c-165 with a 270pf ceramic disc
capicator.

then replace c-190 with a 47pf ceramic disc
capacitor

then you add a 100pf ceramic disc capacitor
between pin #1 of IC-9 and ground

I have done this mod on a Supersar 3900 with
excellent results!!!!!!!!!

I failed to mention on my last post,there is also alot less complicated solution .
All you do is replace IC-8 and IC-10,with TA7310p
Intergrated circuit's and PRESTO no frequency drift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should send this mod to 307 at his address he listed above so he can put it in his book.

It makes it a lot easier for him if you send it to him than him trying to copy it off of the forum.

Hi wareagle,need help on your mod here.you say to change ic8 which is a 10 pin and ic10 which is a 9 pin to a ta7310p.will you clarify this for me I would like to try it but the pin diff. thru me.
