what is the deal with people puting that copper is selling referb. radios as new ones to the public and not telling you? I know you here and read alot of junk but when you see it in a lot of forums you begin to wonder. |

Well some people are misinformed or have never delt with Copper Electronics before so they do not know that Copper Electronics only sells New Equipment direct from the manufatcturer.
Unless they pruchase something from the BARGAINS GALORE area and then if it has been repaired by the factory or returned by a customer missing items it is CLEARLY MARKED as such and included in the discription of the item.
For some reason when I have visited Copper Electronics it never seems to amaze me how many people will return a NEW Product such as a radio or meter or power supply and say it does not work because they find it may not actually what they wanted.
But somehow they will "FORGET" to return the Owners Manual, or maybe the Power Cord and/or mounting brackets and hardware and maybe even the original box the product came in.
Or it will be returned and the packaging or product will look like it went thru KATRINA.
Then this equipment is CLEARLY marked as such in the discription of the item in the BARGAINS GALORE area.
If you have personally ordered products from Copper Electronics before then you personally know first hand that the products you have received is NEW and has the Factory Warranty INTACT and that the item is not a Refurbished Product.
And you have a LOT of People and other Dealers and Forums out there that are highly upset that they cannot match Coppers Low Prices, Customer Service, and Satisfied Customers, and Forum Membership and will tend to post anything that they think the uninformed/misinformed will believe.

Most states require a "Referbed " radio be clearly marked. All the radios i have bought from Copper were NEW and none refurbed. |

Copper has some of the lowest prices around, along with some other select companies. Saying that "copper & ***********. are selling referb. radios as new ones to the public and not telling you" is a good VERY DISHONEST way of convincing people to pay more with them!

I've been dealing with Copper since the early 80'sand have always been happy with the Service, Products, and Price of the items I purchase. It's always like Christmas when I order something from Copper. I have heard things said about Copper from some people, but at the root of it is usually other small time radio shops trying to get business.

I have ordered 3 Texas Star DX500's from Copper, antennas,mounts, coax, connectors, books,ect ect. All was of the lowest prices and all was shiny brand new! No scrathes, no funk, no grime, no finger smudges or goo on any of it. The amps also had that new in the box fresh smell.
If you did'nt buy it from Copper then SHAME on you! |

AGAIN .....
If it is refurbished, PREOWNED or just plane used most states you cannot sell it without it being marked as such.
Copper just does not work in a dishonest way they simply charge less and the others bad mouth them for doing that. |
