They are still beingmade.I'm not sure if this helps but I bought my first one in the early - mid 80's. |

the black faced ones are ok...but the silver faced ones are MUCH better, ither way, for the right price, great radio |

The black faced Jacksons are still being made, I'm not sure where, probably in the Phillipines or Asia.They are still being sold in Europe.You won't have super-loud audio on AM like with a Galaxy but you will have an excellent SSB rig. |

Im trying to figure out on this jackson the black faced one with bands a to f whats the highest and lowest frequencies in it.I dont really care about am i only talk on sideband anyway so thats cool.

I think the coverage should be:
26.065 thru 28.315 MHz
and you should have 226 Channels/Frequencies on AM/FM/LSB and USB.
If you look to the Left of the Forum here under Tools you wil see a Frequency Chart that should be of help.
