ive got a connex 3300 hp that only recieves for a second when you first power it up. Any ideas on this one? |

sounds like it could be a cap going bad under a load (when power is applied). but it could be other things also. if you have a rf gen, i'd fire in the 10.695mhz i.f. and the .455mhz i.f. to see which stage the problem is in. i doubt you have this, so you have a lot of searching to do, or find someone who has the equipment and knows how to use it to do it for you.
one q, does it receive in fm mode? i lied..1 more q..does the radios s-meter show that it is rxing? |

i do believe it recieves in fm mode, and no it doesnt show any signal in on the meter AM. |
