does anyone know anything about this amp? it has an orenage front panal with this on it.

MACO SEVENTY- FIVE
it has two tubes but can't read whats on them.
i'm not going to fire it up until i get a tech to
check it out.

The original version had 2057's. Maco used some 8950's too and they were both 12 volt tubes. The 2057's are larger than most sweep tubes and it would be easy to tell if that is what they were.
Your tech can check it out but a lot of amps that use the more expensive 12 volt tubes have been changed to a less expensive 6 volt tube. Always good to check before replacing them in an amp you are not familiar with.

thanks for the info. it has the 2057 tubes.had it checked out dead keys 70 swings 325.i was told it was crystel clear on mod. so i guess its a keeper. thanks nickle
