What's the trick to getting LED segments (as in a channel display) off the board without tearin' them out with your teeth? Just curious.

Donald Duck,
Check ratshack for something called desoldering braid.you hold it between your soldering iron and the pad you want to desolder and it wicks the solder from the connection.They also have a vacume type desolderer that works on larger connections.

brade will work as will the desoldering irons with a squeze bulb
