Look out there's a Newbie in the house...I am trying to learn as much as I can from the archives and current discussions, but there is a lot of information there that is being soaked up slowly by my tired old brain. My question is (and don't laugh too hard) is there or would there be any advantage to co-phasing omni base antenna's or dual 102's on a vehicle...what would the spacing be and proper length of what ohm coax??? just curious to your thoughts...I am currently getting a 11meter/ssb basestation set up as well as changing my mobile setups (Ford Bronco and Big Truck)...Thanks for any input!!!

Paganville, Welcome to the forum! I am not going to try and answer your question on co-phasing as there are others on the forum more knowledgeable than me. (much more for that matter)Have you googled "co-phasing antenna's"? I did and found a bunch of info on where someone co-phased two base antenna's and just a whole bunch of other useful and interesting info. Hope to hear ya in there when the DX picks up!

Thanks for the response guys!!! Currently looking at the info emailed to me, good stuff...I have a Star Duster M400 with the feed point at app. 25'...As I live just a few blocks from Downtown I am sure simply raising it up would help, just have to get the weather to cooperate!!! I have about 25' of coax left to work with without buying new. Thanks again for the input...any others who have tried co-phasing and liked/didn't like, I would enjoy the reading!!! Paganville
