While experimenting with a 95T
AND I MEAN EXPERIMENTING! Just playin around...
I smoked it :-) I should say good, I mean it is a Galaxy! :-) J/K
Any way the amp section was dissabled and was transmitting on drivers only nothing else was going on I wasn't even in the radio, just keying it up and looking at the watt meter and there it weant right at the front corner behind the meter. Now no transmit or audio. What I mean by no audio is that the modulation light doesnt light any more when talking. Any ideas any one? If you need any more info just ask

If it's less than 2 years old it should still be a Galaxy covered repair.

Sounds like you smoked the driver finals Bc.

You should have known better man! The Galaxy Gods do not like you very much as it is. Ask Pat Bc! I'm sure he knows what to do and very few tools needed! sledge hammer, plasma cutter, dynamite or just a 100 foot cliff, any one techniuqe should suffice.

Hot, definately not the finals or drivers, I know the Galaxy gods are agry but the real question is is the Galaxy god a god or the DEVIL? :-) Magnum god is the real CB god :-)\
Chad I used to know a guy that was a Ford man and used to race a lot, he also ALWAYS ran Chevy motors and consistanly ran too much nitrous and blew 'em up all the time. When i asked him why he runs chevy motors when he prefers Ford, he replied "because, if I blow up the Chevy, I don't care!"
MilkMan, I think u missed the point a bit, I have been in it hacken away for kicks, just to see what it can or cant, will or will not do. I am pretty possitive they would laugh at me if I tryed to tell them it was a factory defect...

I love my 95T but they tend to get hot. I run mine at 40 watts swinging 190 or so. I use a Lasko cage fan behind it that I found at Lowes for 13 bucks and it runs cool as a cucumber. hope you get your problem worked out.

Yeah!
There is a #1282 transistor (2 actually) up front by the mic socket. One blew, I replaced it and BAM all works good! The radio keys up at about a quarter watt and swings to about 12, then you turn the amp on and it's an easy 2-175! I will say this about the radio. Staying true to the Galaxy name, the reciever isn't all that great but the audio is hurtfully load! All and all, not a terrible radio but that said...

Why blow it up when you can probably get $200 for it on **** over what you paid for it? Now, if it shows a charred and disfigured faceplate, expect no more than a $100, or so.
