This bulletin describes a modification to fix a problem of low modulation output when using a noise cancelling mike. It is a very simple mod of just removing R625 and then jumper the pads where you removed R625 from. If you decide to use a different mike with a higher output after the mod has been done, you adjust your mike gain to your preference. The mod worked great but when I turn on the echo switch, I have no modulation output. Turn the echo switch off and my modulation returns. There was no note of this in the service bulletin. I have the newer model with the 2SC2290 finals. I want to keep the mod but also want the echo to work when it is turned on. Any new info or suggestions to cure this?

are you shure you did not acidently jump near by pads out i did this mod on my 200 and acidently shorted the pin next to the one i was jumping out and had the excact same problem, i went back over my work with a parascope and found a small hair of solder i removed it and all is good now..

p.s. i used a variable resister instead of just a jumper and found even better modulation levels and quality, its adjustsable inbetween both extreams instead of one end or the other..

hope this helps, happy 73's

i do not think that private info such as account numbers, should be asked for nor given.no offense but, no. On the question i had asked- could someone confirm tsb 10051 or post it for all to read.
