I have a TRC 451 which worked fine until receintly, the problem is that i have no audio on am, but still lots of audio on usb and lsb, anyone have any suggestions.

first try some contact cleaner on the AM/USB/LSB switch.
not familiar with this chassis.
could be AM regulator transistor (if there is one)
check for one or two transistors that look just like the driver and final, but are in a different spot on the radio. most likely bolted to the chassis somehow.
post the part numbers of the transistors you find.
what PLL chip is in this radio?

hello kid tnx for the input.The 451 is very similar to the cobra 146 i have a carrier on am but still no audio, will check the regulator also.
