Ok i have a maco5 mounted hoz and tuned for 11 meter band.
Ok the question is: have a MFJ 969 tuner which will tune 50 mhz. Do you think it will work????
I will try this set up later today and find out what the swr is.I will also advise what comes up!
Running a dipole only 30 foot high and been waiting for conditions to open up on 6 and no luck yet(darn magic band anyway) but my thought if the maco 5 at 55 foot and tuned might help when it dose open!!! Just a thought!

It would work but the element spacing would not be the best and your pattern would be nothing like it should be from a beam.
If your interested I have several plans for 6m beams. Let me know and I pm them to you. |

Ok i did hook up the MFJ 969 and the swr was 1:4:1 at 9 watts out.
The strange thing im getting some feedback on 50.125 that i doint pickup on the dipole.
