Hi. I just hardwired in the FC390 Frequency counter into my 148GTL. As you may know, what you actually do is solder to the 148 board a "pigtail" with a quick release. And then the frequency counter has a pigtail as well that connects to this quick release. Well, when I connect the Freq. counter, I notice my receiver volume goes down a little. And then when I actually power th freq. counter on with it's button, it gets even lower. I lose weak stations. I triple triple triple checked all solder points, no shorts with meter, etc...Any ideas? Thanks.
