ok,i got my new 575 astatic and i cant turn up my mike without it sqeeling.if i turn it almost all the way down it stops and i took my talk back out still sqeels when i try to turn it up. what do you suggest i do,somone over the radio said ground it.and i am not sure what to do.thanks |

Tell me exactly what is hooked up and which radio.Add all jumpers , amps , power wires , ect...

29 ltd classic palomar 250 wilson 1000,i tuned the radio,did not clip anything turned modulation pot all the way and backed it off a hair i have 1.4 swr with it all running.i can only turn the mic 1/4 of the way up,i thought it was my talk back so i took the talk back out but it seems not to be that.the only thing i done to the radio was install varible power. |
