hey guys, been a long time veiwer. im 19 out of bristol ri, i currently have a voyage vr9000 that ive owned for 4 years, a d104-m6b handheld, and a shakespear abs 1600. i did the mpc-rc mod today and im dead keying 1 watt and swinging 20. i tried turning vr16 bhut that did nothing. what is the correct pot to turn, ive read in another post that big bob said "In my eagle 2000 vr-16 adjusts the cw keying output, the actual low power adj. is rv-501 I believe on a little board behind the front panel right behind thr rf power nob" is that true?

I think the vr9000 is the same as a galaxy 88. If so VR 16 is the am/fm low power and vr 18 is the am/fm high power. Hope this helps.

sounds like the vr16 or amc is disabled.i hsad a radio like that took 2 my shop thats what the problem was.pretty much same as clipping limiter but this way limiter still stays intact.but still causes overmodulation
