I was talking skip today, and yesterday, and the day before that, all week actually. Anyway today I got up there and said on the radio jokingly that if someone were to give me a 3 or 4 element beam I would talk to them everyday as long as skip was running. I let off the key and several DX'rs said I'll give you a beam. Then one fella came in a little louder and said Wildrat I have a Maco 104 I'll give you, and I said I guess ya live Maine and I just need to come pick it up. He said no I live in Pinellas Park. PP is just a few miles from here. I gave him my number and in about 1 hour I had a 4 element beam sitting in the yard in excellent shape. I'll replace the u-bolts with Stainless Steel ones as well as the hardware and I'll be ready to have someone help me get it up, then I'll be a skip talking fool and ready for the next sunspot cycle.

You never know Coyote, there are good people out there. This fella made the comment that he mostly listens and he hears me out there all the time. I can't say I'm a perfect angel when I'm on the air, I do get to acting like a Wildrat but nothing terrible. Most times I'm as friendly as I can be, he probably liked that. He has cancer so he figures he can't take it with him, so give it to someone that will use it and keep his memory alive when I tell this story.

Mr. Breeze I know I have talked to you before. I am sure you know Ghost Man. He has that boom truck, when I get ready I will give him a call, I've already let him know I have the beam, so he's ready when I'm ready. It may be longer now though. Somehow I hurt my back last night. The docs don't know yet if some of the hardware has come loose, or another disc has collapsed, or some cartilage may have been tore. All I did was take a shower. When I move now you can here my back making noise like when a boat is docked and it's rubbing against the dock, that creaking sound. It's making most people cringe when they hear it. I just don't want anymore surgery. Three times is enough, but I'm afraid it's not over. Anyway if I need help I know all y'all are there, You, Starface, Sinker, where ever he's been lately. Thank You all for your friendship and the chats on the radio and on here when I'm out there. See Y'all
