I was wondering from a tech point of view how good of an addittion is a stinger to a radio? I have seen some that say 50-75 watts. Is that what they add? Or is it the total power of radio and stinger together?

All it is, is a Palamar 80 board. I installed a few of these and had to add RF shielding between the amp board and the radio's board, to prevent RF feed-back and, in one case, to keep the radio's final from blowing over and over. Too much hassle...I just say buy an external amp and don't butcher a goo radio...
