The walmart in my town carrys the Midland 75-822 handheld cb. Does anyone own one of these and have you converted it? I'm wondering if the conversion mod for the Cherokee AH-27 will work for this Midland. They seem to be alike and if so then should not have to many differences inside. I have always wanted an expanded channel handheld and this one looks nice and it price is not bad at all. thanks for any help guys! 73

Well I went ahead and put a pair of these in layaway. Should have them soon and if I have any luck with a conversion I will post my results.

Yeah, they can be converted. My friend and
uncle both have that model of Midland.
My uncle carries it when he takes walks and
we use 27.505
It goes above 40 and some below 1.
Maybe CB TRicks could help you out.
That's all the info i can offer...

Thanks Road Warrior, I'm going to try the mod for the Cherokee that Lon has in the modification section. They seem to be pretty much the same.
