on sideband when i use high power people say it sounds like i dont have enough power but on low sounds great

You don't specify if it used as a mobile or base. DON'T take this as gospel but i had a similar problem with my Magnum 357 when installed in the car the electrical system didn't seem to have enough oomph to run it properly so i hooked it up inside to a 40a power supply and it's all good. I am the first to admit i know less than zilch about these things but maybe delving into the power supply might be your saviour. It's worth a try. But as i said.....DON'T take this as gospel....

Have all the srevice updates been done on your 200?
