is there anything i can do to to beef it up any i looked in the modification list and i couldnt find anything so if anyone can help

Really not much you can do besides maybe getting it peaked and tuned. The desk mic that goes with those radios actually sound really good and louder. If you can find one. Like Draft suggested I would get an amp to beef it up. Maybe not 2 kw's but a couple hundred cool watts would do. |
