i got a monkeymade ant the stinger was over 6foot tried cuting some off to get to work on big truck swr can:t right any ideals thanks bearclaw |

Have you checked the ground if a mirror mount? Alot of the mirrors on big trucks have have plastic, vibration dampening washers between the brackets. |

Bearclaw,
Run an 18 gauge wire from the Mirror Mount Bracket for your antenna along the mirror mount then drill a hole below the DOOR MOUNT and run it to the FRAME for a ground on Both Mirror's.
Also run the power for your radio Direct from your Batteries and the Ground in the Power Wire along with a Ground Wire from the Radio direct to the Frame not the batteries.
And DO NOT use the CHEEEPPPPPP Factory Installed Coax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Replace it with GOOD QUALITY COAX with soldered PL259 connector's.
