I have a stryker radio. I am having a problem tha has me baffled to say the least. When I key up it flashes red, others can tell I have keyed up but no voice on the other end. This only happens in AM Mode when I switch to FM everything is fine. I have tried switching mics from a astatic to a road king no help, any ideas or suggestion

If it is flashing red you have SWR issues

When you say "it flashes red", do you mean that it turns red on key-up and stays red until you unkey? Or do you mean that when you key up, it flashes red-blue-red-blue, etc? The former is normal, the latter means that you have a high SWR.

roger that on the High SWR put the radio on a meter this morning and you are correct. I am trying to lower them now.
