how many amps does the boomer 400 draw i have the pyramid 52k about 40amps i think will it run it ok ?

I have a BOOMER 400.It draws 30 amps with 4 watts drive,on AM.It draws aprox.40 amps at 32 watts drive,on SSB.I have a homemade powersupply capable of 35 amps continuous 70 amps peak.Testing done with Radio shack digital watt meter.

thanks i have the 600 but low is all i can use so i was thinking about the 400 next time i buy thanks again

The BOOMER 400 generates 400 plus watts with 32 watts drive SSB, 260 watts AM, 4 watts dead key.

Hey guys I added a 1farad Stinger cap.to my powersupply now my boomer 400 puts out 450watts at 32watts ssb.Voltage drop is only .3volts and now I come over all our stereo speakers even when they're disconnected,cool eh???Scares hell out of our cats hehehehoho I'm mean.
