back in the 70,s radio shack made a 3 element beam called the archer crossbow, it was a standard 3 element beam to be used as a flat or verticle.I had a few of these and they worked very well. boom length about 12 feet if memory serves me .I was wondering if anyone has the plans for one of these tucked away some where.i would really like to build one again.

A good 3 element beam should be fun and simple to build. The interesting part will probably be finding a good gamma match to use, or better yet rolling your own !!  |

The Radio Shack beam was a Hustler antenna. |

Hi funbob, well ive been building antennas for many years, as far as a gamma match easy to make as well, a friend of mine wants me to build him a copy of this beam as he had one years ago also, just hoping that someone has copy of the assembly instructions.IMO building your own antennas is the best way to go, if it screws up no one to blame but yourself lol

Tnx for the info Tech 833, I did a search for Hustler antennas and found that they are made by New Tronics corp. from Texas, I checked their page and dont see any beam antennas, maybe you could tell me where you got the info so I could check it out.
