Is there anything that can be put on the threads on the coax connector on the antenna that would keep it from corroding and also keep water out?
I am thinking of dialectric grease.

Do a search here in the Copper Forum for PENTROX or NOALOX which is designed just for this purpose.

I have that Noalox product for use on the antenna joints but just wanted something on the 259 connector befor I screw coax on. I will do a search but I did not find anything under Noalox befor, I will try again.

I found something in the search. It said to use noalox at the 259 connectors also when putting antenna system together.
