most likely not.

the only thing to do would be turn the RF gain down enough so you dont hearit, but thats not a very desirable option.

this noise is being created by something in your house, or in your neighborhood.
one way to find out if its coming from your house is to have someone sit and listen to the radio on ch.30, and you go around the house unplugging and replugging everything to see if something makes the noise disappear.
anything cordless is a good start.
also wall warts, and chargers of any kind.

if its clearly not in your house, you will need to drive around the neighborhood and see if the signal increases anywhere.
also you can use a field strength meter and walk around pointing it at things you suspect and watching for a jump on the meter.

i had similar noise on ch.14 and it turned out to be the outback steakhouse up the street from me.
it was their pagers that they give to people waiting for a table.

for some reason it stopped. maybe because i would key up with all the power i had available on that channel and try to disrupt their pagers. LOL

is ch.30 a channel that you talk on?

I had the same problem and used my 40 walkie talkie to walk around my house and property to find it. I got the noise very loud near my neigbors house and here it was a power wheels charger pluged in in his garage. You can most likely do the same. good luck.
