Technical question about the mode switch. For some strange reason the TX is dropping out on my radio. The way I get it back is key the mic and switch the mode switch from AM to SSB. When the TX drops out the RX is still there. My question is does the mode switch separate the TX and RX some way or are both present on the switch. I thought the mode switch would control both TX and RX and if the switch was causing the problem I would think the TX and RX would both go not one or the others, but the way I get the TX back would indicate that the TX and RX is seaparted on the mode switch. |
