when i turn it on it used to key up and sound like the rodger beep is keying. now it stays keyed up when i key the mic and it sounds like the beep is stuck on until i turn it off and turn it back on again any thoughts? |

Smoken Joe,
I had a Voyage VR9000 - although it's not the same radio, I did play around with it quite a bit and what I find might at least clue you in...
I noted that if I turned off the roger beep while keyed, it would immediately beep the next time I keyed up, like a pre-beep.
What it sounds like to me is there might be something hosed up with the connection at the on/off switch for the beep based on what I just said... |

thanks but i found the problem . cold soider joint on a resistor by the mic socket. thanks for the come back. 10 4 |
