My Palomar SSB600 has a sticking relay. It looks good inside no signs of corrision or anything like that. I was thinking about puting a small pin hole inthe clear plastic and spraying some lube in it. I was thinking about useing 100% Silicone spray like Prestone 100% Silicone. It drys and only leaves silicone behind.I am just going to put a piece of tape over the small hole. The shop I droped it off at said it is completely random as to when it does it. It is the relay that switch's from recieve to transmit. Their are no numbers on the outside of the relay I am guessing they are on the surface that contacts the board. The radio is in like new condition other then that. Any ideas or past experince? Thanks

go to radio shack or a electronic supply and get some tuner cleaner/lubricant and use that. Usually when a relay starts sticking it's time to replace it. You may spray something on it and get a little more use, sometimes no use. A relay starts sticking either because of arcing(there may be a reason why it started arcing also besides just a bad relay) or weakness in the parts that snap the relay back to a open position. There could be other causes but I can't see your relay so I will not comment further and I'm tired, sorry.

TefRawn made by Rawn... I swear by it at times. It's an electronics grade Teflon lubricant. It brought some switches back to life I had sworn off for dead...... Over 300 of them in a particular Amek recording console!
