Got a Cobra 2010 base that I'm working on for a buddy. The radio is 5kc low on both transmit and receive, and it's not just the display being off. I can turn the clarifier knobs all the way to the right and get the receive on freq, but the transmit is still off. I know I can unlock the clarifier and get the receive and transmit back together so that the radio will be usable, but if you're trying to talk to someone who happens to be 5kc or more high, you'll never be able to tune them in. I'm hoping someone can tell me where to find the alignment info on this or any other Uniden 8719 chassis such as the Cobra 2000 so I can get this thing back on freq.

the alignment that lon gave is not for the 2010 that you have.
you have the MB8719 version, and the alignment is the same as for the 2000gtl. pretty much.
