I've been using a D104-M6 the past several months and have gotten good reports. Have also used a Shure SM-57 and an Oktava large diameter condenser with an EQ, the D104-M6 is easier to use and doesn't take up nearly as much space. What I -don't- like about the M6 is the small PTT button.

I just ordered a DM-452-- don't plan to use the echo at all, but decided to give it a shot based on what I've read about it here on this forum.

If you've used (or listened to) both of these mics, what do you think?

thanks,

Uillean

I have both. The DM-452 is louder and has more bass.
I've been told that my M6 sounds "stocky" even when turned all the way up. I've had 2 452's. One was a complete piece of junk. It was the 'Opek' version. I now have the 'Aries' version, and it sounds great.
