I picked up an old 140 GTL, and it seems to have a slight problem. There is always noise coming out of the speaker no matter what the squelch or volume is set at. I guess it could be described as "White Noise". The voulme and squelch do work fine, but there is always low voulume white noise coming out of the speaker. It does not get any louder when the volume is adjusted. An external speaker makes no difference. Any ideas on what is causing this?
