I have a realy weird problem,, I got a new TV a few months ago (panasonic) 27' flat screen.
as soon as i turn the tv on and the pitcure
comes on i get a noise up to 30+,, if I put the tv on a dead or black channel the cb is fine,,,the brighter the pitcure the more noise I get. I tried pluging the tv and radio in on different circuts in the house ,,,nothing helps,,
any advise? |

Yep send that tv to me !
I have that same problem with a scanner radio it chews up 2 and 440. Now you might try some split ferrite beads on any wires going to of from it and check with panasonic to see if they have seen this problem before .... |

another thing I found out,my son got a remote control truch for xmas and when the pitcure on the tv is real bright or a sharp pitcure the truck moves across the floor,,the truck is controled on 27mhz,,so i guss the tv is emitting rf on 27mhz somewhere???????????? |

i have a mitsubiti 60' tv that comes over my radio on bright or white pictures,also the guide on the sat box causes interference.i've tried all sorts of grounding and ferrite chokes with no luck.i just learded to live with it.i cant run my amp while watching tv anyways,then i come over the tv so i cant win for losing.

If this tv is a plasma type all i can say is good luck, if you think 27 mhz is bad try some of the lower ham bands you will likely see more interference than you have on 27 mhz, plasma screen tvs are poison to radio equipment i wont let one in the door unless i could put a sledge hammer through first lol.

i gave up on the tv,,,i put the tv in the bedroom
and got a new one for the living room,, we dont watch much tv in the bedroom anyway.we have a 2 year old so cartoons is on in the living room when ever he is awake.thanks for the help anyway
