hey guys i have a 148 nwst it has a wierd problem i seem to have ch 16 on ch16 and 16 is also on channel 24 all other channels are fine i get a lot of flowers on this radio but what is making 16 come out on 24 as well as 16?

Thats odd, have you done any channel mod to the radio or any mods period? Where is channel 24? Its got to be somewhere. My only guess would be a cold solder joint at the pll or a bad wire connection involving one of the small plugs that connect to different parts of the board.
I had a similar problem with a Galaxy 959, pretty much the same radio. Ended up being a broken wire from doing the channel mod.

Well i lost all rx now LMAO!!!
cobra made a winner i guess wont buy one again and it was the PLL solder had shorted out to pins i got that fixed then rx went out AGAIN like before but it still transits. i sent it to a real good tech who works on commercail equipment he said he will try and get it fixed but i told him if not throw in the trash. good thing is he aint charging me thank god for great ham friends that will give you a hand when you need it.
