Hi I have a RCI 2980 and the RF Power Control will not adjust. It is on 4 watts and when you turn the control it does not work. The control is good. What can I check to help find the problem? The Signal meter needs adjusting. Can you tell me where do you adjust it?
Thanks For Any Help You can give me….

VR-1 is the AM "S" meter for the 2980, board EPT360024B. Do you have a watt meter in line and what does it show ?

Yes I have a watt meter .The meter that needs adjusting is the receive signal meter. I have a radio that has just been set by a tech. I thought I could get it close using the other radio.
Thanks
